The Process

Using my Release Programme you will be guided to the root cause of any issue(s) and helped to eliminate them.

What is NLP?

NLP is the acronym for Neuro Linguistic Programming

  • Neuro - study of the mind and the nervous system
  • Linguistic - study of language and how we use it along with other non-communication systems i.e. feelings, your inner voice or internal monologue
  • Programming - sequence of our actions, how we motivate ourselves to achieve our goals by programmes that we run in our neurological system.

Your brain is like a computer running natural thinking programmes, processes and strategies all of the time. Just like a computer, you can upgrade your software so you become more effective in what you do, how you think and how you feel.

NLP is the psychology of what works; reaching the mind’s full potential creating incredible change at the unconscious level.

NLP works the mind at a deeper level and faster than other forms of mind work.

The best results from the programme are gained with face-to-face consultations, however there is an option for video conference sessions if you prefer, or are unable to travel.

Each session is 90 minutes and typically the programme can be completed within a minimum of 3 sessions up to a maximum of 6 sessions. This is only a guide - MindBodyHarmony will design a programme specifically for you

About Me

I spent 13 years in the teaching profession as a primary school teacher in London, Luton and Wellingborough. I loved working with children but a large chunk of my time was spent building my new pupils’ confidence and calming parents’ anxiety regarding their children(s) development in their new class or school. As my then, unofficial capacity as counsellor increased, I became more interested in the study of behaviour and what triggers the mind in certain situations. My interest was piqued and through research I was drawn towards Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP).

You see, while growing up, everything seemed to be going okay but then suddenly, in my forties, I was hit with an overwhelming mixture of feelings.  What seemed and felt like a horror movie, kept playing over and over in my mind. As time went on, I carried on with life as normal, studying, working, smiling; hiding my secret…  but this movie of historical abuse, haunted me. It corrupted my decisions, my family life and private relationships. All other life learning experiences i.e. lows, seemed to just add to the load I was carrying. I realised that I was on the verge of an emotional breakdown and I recognised that I needed help.

I reached out to an NLP Master who helped me as much as I would allow her to (very important to be open to change). I fell deeper in love with NLP.

NLP training forced me to be open and finally address my own childhood trauma. My life changed for the better. I understood and addressed my personal behaviours and feelings. I found, acknowledged and accepted the true me, the positive, strong, ambitious, helpful, supportive me and more. The techniques I learnt are personally empowering.

I also came to terms with the great satisfaction I felt from witnessing children’s progress in the classroom, but it was only part of my teaching role. The increasing administrative pressures when class ended, were affecting my health and well-being, it was time to make a change.

When my NLP training was complete, I was compelled to continue the work, but I chose to concentrate my efforts on mainly women. NLP gave me the courage to leave the teaching profession and pursue a path as a practitioner. Unfortunately the stresses of my teaching career had already taken hold and I was diagnosed with breast cancer. My NLP training provided a great deal of the emotional and mental strength needed during treatment, more so through recovery. I am presently in remission.

With gratitude, I am now dedicated to fulfil my desire, in using my educational skills and personal experiences to make positive changes in the lives of other women, suffering with the side effects of historical abuse.

As a practising Muslim my chosen name is Amina. The name Amina has an Arabic origin meaning - honest, faithful and trustworthy.
